Day 10 in my #31dayphotochallenge | Long Exposure
In day 10 of my #31dayphotochallenge I took this picture of this long exposure picture with my #GooglePixel as usual and edited with Adobe Photoshop CC for mobile devices. Check it out here if you want a great editing software on the go: http://amzn.to/2AqG9UK. I wasn't sure if I could even do this on my phone but lo and behold ... there's an app for that! I went through a couple of pictures to get to this one here. Granted it isn't as awesome as if I used my much more expens

Day 9 in my #31dayphotochallenge | Snow
In day 9 of my #31dayphotochallenge I took this picture of snow falling on these leaves with my #GooglePixel as usual and edited with Adobe Photoshop CC for mobile devices. Check it out here if you want a great editing software on the go: http://amzn.to/2AqG9UK. I was really excited to take this and a couple other pictures and videos because it's the first snowfall of the winter season here in CT. Winter has so much meaning for me. Not just because of the snow but because of

Day 8 in my #31dayphotochallenge | Still Life
In day 8 of my #31dayphotochallenge I took this still life picture with my #GooglePixel as usual and edited with Adobe Photoshop CC for mobile devices. Check it out here if you want a great editing software on the go: http://amzn.to/2AqG9UK In this still life picture of the fruit arranged into a smiling face I wanted to depict that the inanimate fruit was happy about something. Or maybe to show that if you eat fruit you too will be happy. However you see it, I wanted to conve

Day 7 in my #31dayphotochallenge | Nature
In day 7 I took a picture of this beautiful sunset with my #GooglePixel as usual and edited with Adobe Photoshop CC for mobile devices. Check it out here if you want a great editing software on the go: http://amzn.to/2AqG9UK Nature is the name of this blog post because next to light (refer to day 6 if you haven't read it already), nature is my next favorite subject in photography or just in general. As you can see in this sunset at a dock in Stamford CT, the colors and light

Day 6 in my #31dayphotochallenge | Light
In day 6 I took this picture with my #GooglePixel as usual and edited with Adobe Photoshop CC for mobile devices. Check it out here if you want a great editing software on the go: http://amzn.to/2AqG9UK As you can see, it's a vintage camera with lights wrapped around it with one illuminating the viewfinder and a key light on the top left casting a shadow to the right. Light (as I'm sure you are well aware) plays a huge role in the photography and video productions that I capt

Day 5 in my #31dayphotochallenge | Mood
In day 5 I decided to go non-specific to photography but still within the art realm as far as art is concerned. I took this picture with my #GooglePixel and edited with Adobe Photoshop CC for mobile devices. Check it out here if you want a great editing software on the go: http://amzn.to/2AqG9UK I titled this post "Mood" because the picture of the berries laid next to the leaves with some wheat looking plants as a backdrop didn't keep to only a single photography method but m

Day 2 in my #31dayphotochallenge | Perspective
So it's Day 2 in my #31dayphotochallenge for the 31 days of December and I went with another Christmas theme here but with a different twist. About the picture first; I took this picture over at the East Haven Green Historic District today. With my #GooglePixel in hand, I had to somewhat lay down to get the perspective just right with the leading lines of the white fence to match the edges of the tree that point to the star on top and the moon further illuminating it from beh

#31dayphotochallenge for the 31 Days of December ... Day 1
As the festivities of Christmas are in the air I release the first picture of my #31dayphotochallenge for the 31 days of December. They will all be taken with my cellphone, a #GooglePixel. With the pictures I'll add in some words of wisdom as well as some photography tips that pertain to the photo. Now, that being said this is a picture I took in Ridgefield, Connecticut while I was waiting to interview a couple for a commercial shoot I was on. Photography to me is the ability
